BEM simulations provide an abundance of output data that can be used to design buildings, evaluate design measures, assess the accuracy of the model, and many other purposes. This page provides a brief overview, but read more on this topic on the page Analyzing Model Outputs.

Information to answer your questions

  • Electricity and gas consumption by end use
  • Peak electric demand by end use
  • Energy cost
  • Peak cooling and heating loads by component
  • Air handler peak cooling and heating demand
  • Chilled water and hot water loop peak loads

These data points can be annual values, peak values, but also can be evaluated in more detail by reviewing monthly and hourly values.
